Principal
Principal Rebecca Wolf
Hello Riverview East Academy families and community!
My name is Rebecca Wolf and I am honored to be your principal. I am a proud product of Cincinnati Public Schools and am overjoyed to have the opportunity to serve as a leader in the city that raised me. Beginning at Pleasant Ridge Elementary, I attended the dual-immersion bilingual program from Kindergarten through the 8th grade (hablo Español!) before attending and graduating from Walnut Hills High School.
I went to college at George Washington University in Washington DC, where I worked as a nanny and assistant preschool teacher while earning my Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. After returning to Cincinnati for a few years, I moved to Oakland, California, where I waited tables, earned my Master’s Degree in Sociocultural Anthropology, and eventually began my educational career as a Special Education teacher in the Oakland Unified School District. I have worked with students of all ages with a wide variety of needs, ability levels, and backgrounds.
I am excited about using my various educational, vocational, and life experiences to support the children and families of Riverview East Academy. I believe that leadership is an act of service and love and I strive to bring this belief into every interaction I have and every decision I make. It is my goal to continue to build a school community and culture that supports students to succeed in every aspect of their lives. From academic rigor and college and career readiness to social emotional well-being and positive decision-making, we will always hold students to a high standard and push them to grow. Above all, we will continue to put the needs of students first.
I look forward to continuing to work with all members of the Riverview community to foster an environment of connectivity and support. We all do better when we all do better.
Let’s SOAR,
Principal Rebecca Wolf
