Principal Charlene Myers

Mrs. Myers grew up in Secaucus, New Jersey which is right outside of New York City.  Mrs. Myers went to undergraduate school in New Jersey.  She graduated from Richard Stockton State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Literature.  She started teaching in New York state and moved to Cincinnati in 1989 when she started teaching English in Cincinnati Public Schools.  In 1994, Mrs. Myers started to pursue a Masters in administration from the University of Cincinnati and graduated in 1995.  She entered the world of administration as an Assistant Principal in 1999 at Western Hills High School.  She stayed at Western Hills for 9 years and started at SCPA in the 2008-2009 school year.  With well over 20 years’ experience in education, she brings a wealth of educational experiences as well as a strong determination to see that every child is successful in the path that they choose.  Personally, she has two children.  One daughter is a professional ballet dancer and a son who is in his senior year of high school.  Mrs. Myers enjoys working at Riverview East Academy and providing students with an excellent education.
