Riverview East Community Learning Center is a partnership between school and community resources to support academics, family support, health, social services and life long learning.  The community is empowered to implement its vision for both academic achievement and community revitalization. Extending hours for learning and community activities leads to improved student learning, stronger families and healthier communities. 

“Y” Achievers Club
Teens develop leadership skills while assessing building career goals ,college access  and community service opportunities. This group will attend special events like Kirk Franklin Banquet, Teen Center Dance, and Spring Break College Tours .
Splash
The program teaches participants the basics of swimming, including different strokes, using skill progression from blowing bubbles and floating to proper kicking and breathing technique.  Water safety and rescues will be addressed through education and practice of skills such as throwing assists, when it is safe to swim, what to do in an emergency, and how to be safe around a body of water.

Life Skills,
Life Skills assist teens in job readiness and financial management skills. Life Skills for adults  focus on home life enhancement for the families through interactive lectures and workshops with parents and youth.

DJ’ing 101   
This program takes youth on a musical journey of the historical and contemporary significance of DJ’ing  Participant s are exposed to entrepreneur opportunities and hands on development of skills and knowledge of this art form
Ink Tank for teen writers.
Develop writing skills, self-expression and self confidence by participating in these programs. Teens will:
- meet other writers, - develop their writing skills,  find their voice and be heard, perform their work  publicly and  HAVE FUN!
Sports Injury Prevention
Individuals will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment for athletes while participating in sports. In an emergency will also learn how to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives.

Hawks Bucks
Incentive bucks are earn in exchange for proper dress and wearing uniforms daily. Purchase of several items may be use with the Hawk Bucks on High flying Hawks Day

Health Seeker Fitness Center
Health seekers can work out with Lyons YMCA   in Riverview East  Gym and Fitness Center.  Sign up for Strength Training and other classes.

Spanish Camp
Participants gain appreciation and understanding of Spanish and Mexican Heritage. Youth will learn language, food, culture and be introduced to local Spanish community organizations. Participants will also attend field trips to Cinci Latino Festival in Sawyer Point and visit other authentic Mexican Restaurants. It’s the next best thing  to doing to Spain.

Community Gardening
Adults and youth are invited to participate in gardening activities at the East End Veteran’s Memorial Community Garden located at 247 Strader Ave. You don’t have to be a gardener to enjoy this activity and you’ll be amazed what you can grow.
Brain Games and Crafts
Problem solving games are fun but challenging. This activity helps to stimulate the left side of the brain. Arts and crafts help to develop the creative processes utilizing the right side of the brain.  Attending both keeps you flexible and well rounded.
Cincy After School

Educational and enriching activities, and field trips keep youth safe and active  after school  till 5:30pm
